I served as the Lead Visual Designer on the New Range Rover (L460) Driver Information Display (DID), overseeing the artistic and visual direction from initial concept through to final production. This role required a holistic approach to design, ensuring a visually striking yet highly functional interface that aligned seamlessly with the project's objectives and the premium standards of the Range Rover brand.
To achieve this, I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, including HMI specialists, engineers, electrical teams, and senior directors. By fostering a collaborative environment, I facilitated brainstorming sessions and creative workshops where team members felt encouraged to contribute ideas, fostering innovation and ensuring alignment with the overall vision.
My responsibilities extended beyond visual aesthetics—I translated brand guidelines into user interface solutions specifically optimized for automotive environments. This included creating intuitive and forward-thinking designs that prioritized clarity, usability, and user engagement. I employed techniques such as wireframing and prototyping to test, refine, and validate concepts, ensuring that all design decisions were informed by rigorous user feedback and real-world application.
Throughout the process, I championed best design practices and advocated for a high standard of precision and care, both within the design team and across departments. This focus on collaboration and detail resulted in a cohesive, high-quality user experience that effectively balanced the needs of end users with technical and business requirements.
The result was a Driver Information Display that exemplified modern elegance, functionality, and innovation—upholding the legacy of Range Rover while providing a cutting-edge user experience
